Meet Asja

Hello and welcome! I’m Asja, the artist behind these handcrafted thread art creations.

After the hardships of war and years spent rebuilding my life as a refugee, I devoted myself entirely to building a future for my family. It wasn’t until my children were grown that I finally had the time to slow down and discover something new—teaching myself, thread by thread, the craft of string art.

It surprised me how much healing, peace and joy it brought into my life, and I’m honored to share that with you now. Each piece is crafted with precision and love in Burlington, North Carolina, using quality materials to create one-of-a-kind wall décor that adds warmth and meaning to a space.
